The Sessions have a become a ritual. Always a productive few days, Montauk represents an timely landing strip for us. Each year we arrive loaded with ideas and a strong thirst to create. Below are some photos from the session over the years.

Mellish - Archive Mellish played Industry, Sept 20, 2024. 2 sets, lots of great folks there for the event. We were joined by long time friend and guitar maestro, Jon Heagle. We love this place!  enjoy Mellish played the 13th annual Montauk Music Festival in May of 2024 We played Pack out, Sole East, Street Food adn Navy Beach in that order.  We were booked at Sel Rose but the bartender was a douchebag so we walked out.  enjoy Grandview Music House Dec 22, 2023. Capture of Mellish 12 November 1776, Dept of Naval Revolutionary War Ship Print Some (Men) may be familiar with this print if they've used the urinal at Elijah Churchill's. Tim came across the print a few years back and as it represents an interesting story and is loosely connected to our band he framed it and hung it in the john. The painting is part of a collection of original artwork by water color in the Bailey Collection. It was a momentous event in that  " Jones noted that "this Prize is I believe the most Valuable ship that hath been taken by the American Arms . . the clothing on board of her is the last intended to be sent out for Canada this season . . . I will not loose Sight of a prize of such importance but will sink her rather than suffer her to fall into their hands." Jones reported over sixty prisoners, of whom forty were soldiers and sailors.
